European physicians are prescribing DMAE (dimethylaminoethanol) / ginkgo biloba for the brain. Some European physicians have stated that ginkgo is more effective than high doses of Hydergine (a prescription drug). Studies have consistently shown ginkgo to be beneficial in treating a variety of conditions. DMAE is also the immediate precursor to choline in the building and repair of cell membranes, especially in the brain and central nervous system.
