Directions:
This product is stronger than most yohimbe bark products on the market, therefore, starting out with 1/2 (one half) capsule until you build up tolerance, would be prudent. Taking too much can cause a mild side effect speed feeling or "the jitters." Some people like this feeling as it is a favorite among bodybuilders and other athletes. Build up to 1 or 2 capsules daily or as directed by a physician or licensed nutritionist. Using more than two capsules daily will not improve results and may have adverse health repercussions. Consult your physician before using this product if you have any questions, side effects, or health concerns.Even though Yohimbe EX is not a prescription drug, it has warnings on the label all drugs should print on their labels. As a general precautionary warning: Not for use by persons under 21 years of age. For centuries, natives from these areas have ingested both the crude bark and purified compound as a tonic to enhance sex drive. The bark has been smoked as a hallucinogen and used in traditional medicine. The herb is a sensual stimulant for healthy men and women.
Yohimbe's effects stem from it's ability to increase blood flow to the genitals, both male and female. It is thought to stimulate the pelvic nerve ganglia and thus is helpful for men in need of erection support. In fact, a prescription drug yohimbine hydrochloride, is an FDA approved drug. Effects can include enhanced libido, sensation, and stamina. Women have also reported similar side effects and general pleasant sensations.
Yohimbe bark contains about 6% yohimbine. This constituent is an indole alkaloid that is classified as an alpha-2-adrenergic blocking agent. The herb has a general nervous system stimulatory effect and can cause changes in blood pressure by dilating blood vessels. It can increase heart rate, raise body temperature and increase blood pressure. At higher dosages, it has a mild psychotropic effect.
Yohimbe bark stimulates chemical reactions in the body that may aid in psychogenic cases of suppressed sex drive due to fatigue, tension, and stress. As an alpha adreno-receptor blocker, yohimbe reduces the effect of hormones that cause constriction of blood vessels, which typically increases as we age. It increases the body's production of norepinephrine (adrenaline) which is an essential side effect in the formation of erections. Yohimbe may also boost the adrenaline supply to nerve endings, which can quicken male sensual stimulation.
