To augment these ingredients, a standardized lignan extract from Norwegian spruce has been added to Super MiraForte. These lignans convert to enterolactones in the intestine that are then rapidly absorbed into the bloodstream where they provide biological positive side effects.3 Enterolactones have demonstrated anti-estrogen and anti-DHT effects (along with chrysin) that are of particular importance for the aging prostate gland.4-6
