Bitter Orange Extract - Also known as Neroli, Bitter Orange comes from a flowering, fruit-bearing evergreen in the Mediterranean and Asia.  The extract of bitter orange (and bitter orange peel) has been used as dietary supplement that acts as a weight-loss aid and appetite suppressant.

Gymnema Sylvestre Extract - A member of the milkweed family, Gymnema sylvestre is native to the tropical regions of India.  Gymnema Sylvestre helps to lower blood sugar levels, primarily because it inhibits absorption of glucose. It has been shown that Gymnema can also regenerate insulin-producing beta cells of the pancreas, leading to an enhancement in the production of endogenous insulin, further controlling blood sugar.

Warnings Information:  Do not take Bitter Orange Extract or Gymnema Sylvestre if you have heart disease or high blood pressure.  These products should not be taken with any prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI).  If you are uncertain whether your prescription drug contains MAOI, consult your healthcare professional before taking this product.  Not recommended for use by pregnant or lactating women.  Consult a healthcare professional before taking Bitter Orange Extract (Citrus Aurantium) or Gymnema Sylvestre if you are pregnant, nursing a baby, taking insulin or oral hypoglycemic medication.
